Grafite Greystones

Grafite has now returned home to Holland with his owner Anna Keen after his holiday with Spearhil & first appearance at Crufts 2008 in the Game Keepers Rings.

He has had a successful season working on a few shoots in the South of England & the Isle of Wight where he has been an enthusiastic addition to our gundog team. He is a very agile dog easily clearing with great flair many of the obstacles & is a dedicated retriever both in water & on land, keen on open ground or in dense woodland. He has an ability with runner's particularly partridge & diving duck. Grafite is a nice wide ranging hunter ideal for covering Grouse Moors or large open fields but will happily work in a small beat as part of a team.

His excellent temprament has been a great asset both on the shoots & for rebuilding the confidence of our short term fosters from rescue whose socialising & education he has taken on with his comical personality & gentle manner offering them an opportunity to play or to discover their breed abilities.

Grafite is the sire for our Weimaraner 'A' litter & as a successful proven stud we were pleased to see that several of his offspring from his first litter qualified for the breed rings at Crufts in 2008.
