Research Library

As my interest in pedigree research & history of my breeds has grown so has my library.

The contents are extensive for the Weimaraner, Kennel Club Stud Books & Breed Supplements which are complete for the Weimaraner & as a consequence any of the gundog breeds going back to the early 50's. For breeds registered with the KC prior to that date information is sporadic but I still have my sources.

In addition I also have a vast array of Club & Print Media magazines from around the globe. My collection of ‘Weimaraner Club of America’ magazines goes back to the 1940's although there are some missing copies I am still hoping to come across in the future.

There are also an array of books that are considered either of interest or 'bibles' some of which are now very rare. These are available to view on appointment.

The library is now expanding quickly to include source material for the Cocker Spaniel.

If you have a library or Breeder Notes that you would like to sell or donate I am always willing to make a purchase or to make a donation to rescue on your behalf so please feel free to contact me.

I believe in the sharing of knowledge, with that in mind if you are looking for information, would like to come & do some research or would like some assistance to increase your own knowledge please contact me I am more than happy to help or to point you in the right direction.

I have a database for the UK Weimaraner & the ancestors of imports that include some health information that I am slowly collecting. This information is available with discretion on the permission of the owners of the dogs. Alternatively if you have a dog that is suffering from a health condition especially hereditary & are looking for other owners for support I am more than happy to find you someone that is prepared to share their knowledge & experiences.
